Microprocessor controlled cutting machines designed and manufactured in Denmark. They measure and cut many different types of natural or plastic by means of heavy duty knife blades. They are suitable for cutting materials such as velcro, zip fastener, elastic cotton, string, ribbon cable, wire, leather, etc.
The machines can measure and cut small or large quantities of strip materials in lengths from 1mm to 99.9 metres, and produce consistently accurate lengths and high quality cuts. Frequently used lengths can be stored in the machine’s memory for instant recall. There are eight memories available for this purpose.
The machine is portable and weighs approximately 20Kg. They can be mounted on a table or bench and only require 230V/50Hz mains socket.

Setting and programming the machine for use is easily carried out as follows:

1. Mount the reel of strip material on the reel holder and thread it through the guide bars and into the knife guide.
2. Turn the machine on.
3. Programme the length required.
4. Programme the quantity required .
5. Press the Manual Cut Button to establish the start datum.
6. Press the start button.

The machine will now measure and cut automatically and when the batch is complete or the material is exhausted, the machine will stop and sound an alarm. The production rate depends on the length to be measured and exact configuration of the machine. Speeds can be increased by using a stepping motor version (US-model), and increased further by use of a pneumatic knife (USP-model).
